Brisk FX is seeking a Graphic Designer – Production Assistant to join our award-winning experiential interactive design team. Based in the greater Kansas City area – Lee’s Summit, the Brisk FX team produces themed exhibits, apps, and web experiences with a focus on high-end aesthetics, smooth UI/UX, and animation. This position will involve the creation of high quality print and graphic assets for use in marketing communications, websites, apps, game design, and animations.

We design and develop unique, engaging communication concepts, delivered rock-solid, worldwide, and we want a new team member with attention to detail and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to join us to make the experiences even better.

Necessary Technical Skills
Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign
Experience to quickly sketch and communicate visual concepts
Experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite
Experience with the Windows OS environment

Necessary Workflow Skills
Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic as the needs of a project change
Ability to proofread documents and quality check work
Able to work well with others in a deadline driven environment
Help with beta testing of apps and games
Help maintain appearance of work area
Ability to help team with occasional installation and project integration tasks
Available to be a production assistant of video projects as needed
Ability to operate/train to operate various print production equipment
Reliable Transportation

We are seeking a developer that appreciates great data structure and code as much as great UI/UX. This position will involve taking web and app designs and turning them into functioning, secure platforms. Flexibility, strong problem solving, and critical thinking skills are a must on our team.

Necessary Technical Skills
Experience with PHP
Experience with MySQL
Experience with Laravel PHP Framework

Necessary Experience with HTML/CSS
Experience with WordPress backend and WordPress development
Experience with Javascript and external packages (eg: jQuery, Angular, etc)
Experience with cross browser/device testing and debugging
Experience building responsive HTML/CSS design

Necessary Workflow Skills
Experience building web content from provided designs
Experience building web content with no designs provided
